Creating an engaged workforce – getting the most from your millennial employees
Today’s workplace presents a complicated array of challenges for Managers – the most critical of which is creating and maintaining a highly engaged workforce. Engaged employees are more committed to your goals and will give more effort consistently to support their achievement.
Engagement doesn’t just happen. Creating a highly engaged workplace demands focused actions tailored to your workplace. Defining actions to drive engagement becomes more complicated when the diverse nature of most workforces is truly taken into account. Most workplaces have at least two and up to four different age cohorts represented in their employees. Within these groups, the largest and perhaps for some managers the most confounding, are millenials.
Millennials don’t have to be a mystery! And creating high engagement in your millennials and the rest of your workforce is well within the reach of most managers.
