Auditor as an Agent of Change
This presentation is based on the results of my dissertation research project that examined how some common audit practices and activities can conflict with an organizational culture in a way that creates barriers to change. The presentation will discuss how individuals in the business make decisions about change, how organizational culture influences these decisions, and will discuss some practical ideas for improving client relationships during an audit.
Attendees should walk out of the session with some ideas on how they can improve the uptake of audit recommendations and support change in their organization as a partner rather than an adversary.
