Climate

Fall starts in mid September, bringing bright yellow and orange foliage to Edmonton’s treed neighborhoods and river valley parks. This season ushers in cooler temperatures ranging between 10-20°C during the day. The air is cool, and residents usually wear a sweater or light jacket.

Language

English and French are commonly spoken, as well as some Pun­jabi, Can­ton­ese, Ta­gal­og, Span­ish and Arab­ic are still the city’s most popu­lar, but al­most 80 per cent of Alberta’s Kinyarwanda (the language of Rwanda).

  • On a patio related to a business, restaurant, lounge or nightclub.
